Morning Break with Joe
Meet your Lakeway City Manager Joseph Molis and join us for the third edition of Morning Break with Joe, this time in the Evening
Lakeway Community Blood Drive Saturday November 8, 2025 8 a.m. - noon
Lakeway Community Blood Drives are held from 8 a.m. through noon, on the second Saturday (usually) of every odd month, at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek. Blood collected at these drives is dedicated for use in the 10-county area in and surrounding Travis County.
To be eligible, donors need to be in good health, at least 17 years old and weigh 115 pounds or more for whole blood donations. Photo identification is required, and a good meal beforehand is highly recommended. Organizers give prospective donors with appointments priority during the donation process. Walk-ins are always welcome, too – and needed (until 11:00am). LOCATION: Lakeway Drive & Lakeway Activity Center COST: FREE!
Gather your bicycles, tricycles, unicycles, skates, scooters, wheelchairs, golf carts, wagons, or simply your walking shoes and meet us at the Live Oak Golf Course's Driving Range (at 510 Lakeway Drive) for a magical "flight" down Lakeway Drive! Don’t forget to bring some candy to share with the onlookers.
